I nominate Halo Infinite, its achievements are fun to get, and most of them require you to play just a little bit differently than you would without achievements. For example reaching the end of a mission without letting your scorpion tank get destroyed :)

Size Matters was a pretty good game for achievements. It came out March 2021, and I 100%'d the 57 achievements in about 5 hours.

I'd like to nominate Dorfromantik. It features two pretty unusual achievement concepts. One is that you have to unlock which achievements you can complete, and one is that it seems to sometimes select which achievements you can currently complete. I haven't fully figured out exactly how it works - and I can't even say that I completely think it's a good idea. But what I can say is that I love the infusion of some fresh ideas and experimentation. The game itself is a serene world-builder with tiles, and I think in a sense the arrangement does go in the vein of the whole game somehow. It lets the ambience feeling of the game concept shine through somehow. |

I'm nominating It Takes Two. Genuinely some of the most fun I've had with a game in recent memory. I love couch co-op games and this was super fun! Finding secrets and playing mini-games with a partner has been great. :)

Gonna vote for probably the only 2021 game I played last year, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart! The achievements were nice and straightforward, mostly following the storyline and related to collectibles (without being grindy). The game itself is beautiful and shows off the graphical capabilities of the PS5. The haptic feedback on the controller adds another element to the different guns as well. Overall, a must play on the PS5, and a great achievement experience. |

Nomination: Back 4 Blood. This game is quite fun, and also quite difficult. Achievements are mostly for playing the game well, which gives it a pretty good correlation between skill and achievement-count. |
